Logo Design Brief

We are starting a new Race Team that will be named MDR (McCarron Day Racing). Many of the Nascar Race Teams use the three letter abbreviations. We would like the logo to be edgy, modern and clean. We would like to the logo with the following colors: black, red and silver... any combination will work. Some examples of the work I am talking about is: PPR (Phil Parsons Racing), RCR (Richard Childress Racing)
