We need a cover design for a book on a new concept in IT - DataOps. DataOps is the application of DevOps-like processes to Data Management. Data Management has been around for a while, and involves taking data from data sources, cleaning it up, and putting it into data repositories like data warehouses.A few DataOps keywords are Automation, Self-service (people “operating” data rather than “engineering” it), and Data Drift (dynamic data changes that we still want to flow automatically). Here’s another picture: the modern world of constant technology change, new data sources (from inside the enterprise and outside), and data drift is kind of like a hurricane. DataOps lets you walk through the hurricane like it’s a light breeze slightly softened by rain. Our primary color is blue, and our logo incorporates a wave, so flowing, curved graphics work best for us.
