Logo Design Brief
We need a font based logo design for a Freemason's Lodge which is nearly 200 years old.
(About us)
Name of the Lodge is "Leinster Marine Lodge of Australia No.2" which was established in 1824.
The Lodge originally had an image of a Tallship as their "Logo" but we now need to renew our image.

The Logo must be Font Based, using Letters "L" "M" and number "2".
Some extra components such as a "Shield" "Crest" or even "Anchor" can be incorporated in the design if you see fit.
We are based in Sydney, Australia. Clever use of symbols such as the Sydney Opera House shape will also be OK.
The design also may, but not required to, incorporate a Maritime theme or a Square & Compasses (Freemason's Logo).
Ideally, it will have a 1:1 height and width ratio (meaning either circle or square, but not a rectangle).
We have not predetermined corporate colours, but the style needs to be Elegant. Pop colours or Funky designs should be avoided.
The Logo must work in both Black & White (and reverse) as well as colour(s). No Gradation, please.
As you can see, we are quite open to your creative ideas, as long as the Font (L, M, and 2) is the main part of the design.
Please submit logos in both colour and Black & White.
DO NOT use any mockup image, please.

We are still in the process of selecting the winner.
There have been a number of great designs, and we are having further discussions to select "The One" which is not an easy process when there are multiple great options.
