Logo Design Brief

We need a logo designed for a modern, contemporary Early Learning (child care) Centre providing play-based learning and kindergarten programs to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years of age. We offer state-of-the art facilities and highly qualified educators. The logo design should appeal to parents (not children) while at the same time, clearly communicate the type of business we are in and our brand values of excellence in play-based learning. We would like to see clean, modern designs similar to the examples provided, making use of a simple yet relevant, abstract graphic/illustration (preferably a continuous line drawing or pencil sketch) with a small amount of colour. The design should work well in both online and offline (building signage, uniforms, brochures etc.) environments.

Requirements

Must have

• A unique, relevant, hand-drawn icon or graphic (not a stock image) - preferably an abstract line drawing or pencil sketch. Image must be relevant to the business eg. a tricycle and a ball or other type of child's toy

Nice to have

• A unique design that has not been used in other child care logos

Should not have

• No stock images from the internet. No auto generated logos from online logo generators. No images of trees, leaves, footprints, handprints, children or any other commonly used child care icons.
