Logo Design Brief

I’m looking for either a redesign of my current logo, or a fresh new idea to help my business stand out. We are a physical therapist owned operation that includes traditional therapy, CrossFit style strengthening/conditioning, adaptive sports training, and specialty wheelchair seating for individuals with neurological impairments . We work with people with paraplegia and quadriplegia from spinal cord injuries, hemiplegia after a stroke, balance and gait deficits after traumatic brain injury and people with multiple sclerosis, ALS, cerebral palsy, etc. The company name, MatrX Health & Fitness, stands for maximizing abilities through research-based exercise. We embody the definition of a matrix: we seek to provide the environment in which people grow in their fitness and physical abilities and surround them with the resources to do so: fitness training, neuro motor retraining, nutrition, pain management, peer support, and exposure to recreational events/activities. We were founded to help people with physical disabilities rediscover their abilities and redefine possible.
We are looking for a catchy, professional logo that can be used for our signage, t-shirt breast pocket embroidery, screen print on shirts, website, and stationary. Attached is our current logo design. We are looking for an image (not clip art) to stack on top of the business name (for a more square/symmetrical overall look for shirts) that can also be positioning to the left of the name for letterhead and other stationary.
