Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based in Wellington (NZ) called "Black Forge Games". We create board games with themes connected to "Creation" (creation of the universe, galaxies, life, etc), thus the name of the company. Our first game has the Tree of Life as its central plot, it explores the idea of worlds being created by a Giant Tree from another Realm.We would like to see designs that have a black background or that can be used on a black background since our boxes are usually dark. The final design should communicate the idea of an epic Hammer's Blow on a forge creating universe, galaxies or worlds. We imagined that with the word "Black Forge Games" on it or being created by the blow itself but we are open to different approaches to the idea.

• - Black background or able to fit well on a black background;
• - Hammer, an Anvil OR BOTH.

Nice to have

• - A blow effect of a blacksmith's hammer;
• - A connection to the universe, galaxies or stars;
• - Iconic hammer or Anvil style;
• - The action of having something forged.

Should not have

• Should not copy the 9 Logos we posted as a reference. They are only there to analyse the details commonly seen in other companies related to games.
