Logo Design Brief

We are a film/ video production company with a passion for the environment - especially the ocean! Our initial film is a documentary on the plight of the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale. Our name is based on A) august is not only my favourite month, but brings lots of great childhood memories of camping, surfing and just being outdoors in general. Plus, august also means respect. And B), Bay for our love of the ocean, particularly the Bay of Fundy near my home, which is renowned for the world's highest tides. The final design should incorporate our love of the ocean and summer. It's not important to include any film/video related aspects. We very much admire logos that have a symbol that can work without font, ie; the "A" in this logo could be a wave.
