Graphic Design Brief
Pre-EMPT is an Australian business specialising in workplace emergency management.
One of our core services is that of producing ‘Evacuation Diagrams’. These are graphical representations of a buildings floor plan that details information on nearest emergency exits and fire equipment. These are typically displayed in prominent locations throughout the building.
Consistent with our new logo (attached), we would like to overhaul the template that our evacuation diagrams are inserted within. (We do not require the artwork for individual floor plans, but rather a new design of the template our diagrams are published within).
There are a number of restrictions that must be considered to ensure these are compliant with Australian Standards. Information regarding this is attached in the document. Further guidance will be provided once an initial theme is agreed upon.
There is no requirement to copy the existing layouts. We are looking for a fresh idea to revolutionise the graphic appeal of our diagrams.
Minimum
• Evacuation diagram should be in A3 size format.
• The minimum ‘floor plan’ area should be 200 mm x 200 mm
• The maximum siteplan area is 90 mm and should be at 1:1 ratio
• Refer to ‘Design Template.pdf in Portrait format
• Final files to be in .AI format. If possible, in CS6 version. PS is accepted.
