Logo Design Brief

I need to rebrand/reimage my music project. The style of the music will be mostly Bass House, with quite a dark, aggressive, robotic and deep vibe to the overall sound. The sound design takes a lot of influence from Drum and Bass artists like Mefjus and Noisia (part of the reason for the project name as DnB artists can be quite liquid like in their sounds), whilst the house/groove aspect is taking influence from artists like Phlegmatic Dogs, Malaa, AC Slater, Kage.
I have a logo currently but its out of date and was never quite what I was looking for (its added below). Its too complex for my liking and probably doesnt suit the overall project very well anymore. As the name of the project is Like Liquid, we had originally gone with a colour scheme of black and dark tints with hints of red typically - I would like to maintain a similar colour scheme I think or keep it very simple (eg black and white). I also didnt mind the kind of dripping in the original logo (could be some good inspiration), but totally open to not having any of those elements too.
Will need to be simple yet eye catching and something that could potentially be used not just for online promotional stuff but merchandise etc... Hence the simplicity. The Phlegmatic Dogs have a nice and simple one. I also do typically like more jaggered aggressive styles in visual stuff, less smooth and flowing.
Open to the idea of emblems as well at the text or just the text as the logo.
The logo will be used on all social media platforms and in promotional material for gigs as well, so needs to be flexible in terms of it's use and applicable to lots of forms.
Ive attached a photo from an old photo shoot we did and some other stuff too.

• My project must have a Logo in any of the forms ticked below, a colour scheme and must be simple and applicable to multiple media types.

Nice to have

• Would be nice to have something that could be animatable later on and I don't mean like a guy running or something, but just something that could be made to change shape relatively easily.
