Logo Design Brief
We are a ecological consultancy that provides land management and ecological restoration advice, diagnosis of ecological problems and solutions and also undertakes ecological research and data analysis.
Our primary mission is to empower our clients to develop adaptive management and monitoring practices focused towards harnessing natural/ecological processes to regenerate soils and vegetation.
Our clients range from local through to federal government agencies and also include private land managers (ie farmers).
We are just about to start trading under our new business name "Natural Regeneration Australia".
We desire a professional logo that captures the ecological ethic of the business and also highlights our key mission i.e. the regeneration of soils and natural vegetation.
We are open to any designs that capture the main objectives of the business. We do however have two distinctly different concepts that we have been thinking around:
1. A regenerating plant seedling (ideally an Australian eucalypt or Australian native perennial grass) forming the rough shape of Australia.
2. A design that shows soils and vegetation developing from bare soil through to diverse tall perennial grassland.
We have attached rough ups of both concepts BUT please do not let these designs restrict your creative processes!
We have also attached line drawings of two distinctly Australian native perennial grasses that may help with the design process.
Designs could also use colour to emphasise the building of soils (eg. light brown or greys for shallow, no humus through to deep chocolate brown to indicate deep and humus rich) and perennial plant cover (yellow, dead through to dark green and growing).
Updates
Thanks to everyone for some fantastic designs. We have been slowly working through them and are gradually getting feedback out. I am about to go away for work for a few days and probably wont be able to to provide feedback while I am away. I will endeavour to get feedback to everyone before I leave but if I run out of time I will do so immediately on my return. Kind regards, Josh
