Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our new start up law firm. Our firm is based in Melbourne, Australia and specialises in Wills and the administration of deceased estates. We wish to break down the traditionally held view of law firms (middle aged in sitting big offices surrounded by dusty law books!) as our staff our young, experienced and passionate about what we do. However, we also wish to be relevant to the older generation so do not want the logo to be too modern in that regard. We do not want traditional legal symbols/pictures incorporated into the logo (eg. scales of justice, gavel, law books etc) We would like it to be modern and simple. At this early stage we are flexible with colours but do not want more than two colours in the logo.
