Contest Holders before submitting a project would be better if they had some seminars on how to clarify things with designers. Our job is to create a design for your needs not to teach you how to become a good contest holder. Your brief is asking for rebel , skulls, motorbikes, flames , tattoo style which unfortunatelly do not work with the "mommy" feeling you want to portray. So the best is to say exactly what you need or change your brief because so far you will get designs according your brief which apparently do not work for you and this is tiring for designers going in blind.
Best Regards.

I asked for edgy, not cute or evil. Your designs were first a sinister skull with a thick beard with flames coming out of his chef's hat and then a gingerbread man with an eye patch. Unfortunately, one was pretty evil looking and one was very cutesy. I've tried to update the design brief as designers submit ideas that don't really end up working (like motorcycles didn't) in hopes of being helpful so that no one's time is wasted. However, even though I specifically stated from the beginning that the design should have some imagery and not just the company name or initials, I have recieved at least 87 submissions that only have our name with no other imagery. And, even though I also specifically said initially that it should not have bread or wheat in it, I have received at least 26 other designs with bread or wheat in them. Just with those 2 issues, we have received over 113 designs that failed to acknowledge simple requests. So, it can be tiring on the customer's end, too. I have received some pretty amazing initial ideas from some very impressive designers that do seem to get the feeling that we are looking for, but I am always willing to help clarify anything our design brief may not explain well. My time is no more precious than every designer's time. I am grateful for everyone who is a part of this process and completely understand that the process only works when there is willingness on both ends to communicate and give their best effort.

You have over 350 entries for your logo. Why are you still sending invites?

by Project Owner on Wednesday, May 22, 2019

Our appologies, someone did that in error while trying to navigate the site on the small screen of a cell phone while in a bad service area. All designers should, of course, feel free to ignore an invite they feel they cannot help the customer with or that was sent accidentally. We have certainly received some excellent designs that very well may end up becoming our logo. For the sake of future customers who you may not consider helping because they have received a high number of submissions, you should know that a majority of the designs we have received included specific things we stated we did not want in our logo and had to be eliminated from consideration.

Are you still looking for the right design? And will you be keeping the project open until the deadline?

by Creative1one on Thursday, May 23, 2019

I am working on your logo design so please don't shut down early. Thank you.

We do not plan on ending our project before the current deadline or extending it again. Thanks for reaching out, please let us know if we can help with specific questions not answered by our design brief.
