Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for an international surf and therapy travel initiative. We want to make therapy to overcome trauma a whole lot of fun besides the serious part of it. This needs to reflect in the logo we're after.
For more info check out www.surftherapytravel.com. We organise surf therapy retreats for a killer body and a sparkling mind in order for people to work in a sportive and fun way on their personal development. In and around the ocean, in and out of the surf. So far the website makes use of the following fonts and colours:Blue - #2a6580Yellow - #f8e000Blue titles: Google font Covered by your grace; - ItalicGrey and white texts and headings: Lato. If really really necessary the fonts may change as long as it keeps the same kind of look and feel.
We would like the fonts to be Google fonts so there is no need to buy or import any fonts in the content management system we're using for our website. Also we would really like the logo to be social media compatible. So if possible readable in the circles of What's app, Facebook and Instagram. A circular logo might be a good idea. Logo's we like are Surf Getaways (www.surfgetaways.com), A walk on water (https://awalkonwater.org), Single Fin Surf Travel (www.singlefinsurftravel.nl) so circular logo with text beside is also an option if you think that does the job:-) The tagline is optional but would be cool.

Thanks so much for all your input! Makes me really happy! I like you to know that so far I like the circular logo's the most with Surf Therapy Travel - Changing your world ONE WAVE at the time! next to it the most. This makes it easy to separate logo from text.
I have now rated three logo's. Also I misinformed you guys about colours. The colours we use at our website are: Blue: #2a6580
Yellow: #f8e000
If you want to see how the logo's turn out in this color that is fine. As some of you understood the logo also needs to be visible and attractive in white as I will also post them over photo's on the website.
Make it playful, What I've seen people doing is play with the yin yang symbol, this I like as it displays growth. Be creative and try to do this with a wave you design if you feel like uploading more designs. Pretty confident one of you is going to win!
