Logo Design Brief

Male hero figure/character icon. Confident. Dependable.

Icon hopes to give the appearance that our product is the obvious choice - will turn you into a hero - easy to use - on-demand - can do great things with ease - no limits.

Must scale well. Will be visible in spaces ranging from 32x32 px to 128x128 px. Must be possible to recolor (looking for vector images).

Our software is used to control the integrated product systems, move data between systems, and automate complicated routine tasks - most notably for application lifecycle management. We have one competitor (logo attached) - so we definitely need to look better than them.

Logo should be energetic and very modern or very retro.

Users of our software are business/office users.

Requirements

Must have

• MALE HERO FIGURE ICON. Confident. Dependable. This project is all about the hero character!!
• Must scale well. Will occupy a square space - so dimensions must be relatively square (height and width must be fairly similar). Will be visible in spaces ranging from 32x32 px to 128x128 px. Must be possible to recolor (looking for vector images).

Nice to have

• Charming, relaxed, fun or whimsical. Slightly relatable appearance. Maybe similar in form to Mr. Incredible (but would like to see other ideas as well). Posing or in-action - not just standing plainly.
• Dominant colors that COMPLIMENT rgb(0,32,80) or rgb(116,39,116) - because in some advertising cases these colors might be used as background for our logo or in close proximity to our logo.
• Software product integrates with two other software products (names and icons attached). Something that identifies with these other product logos or compliments them in some way would be great. Would like to see our colors compliment - but not blend in with - the colors of the other logos. Would definitely like to see a deep orange or maybe some red use somewhere. Icon needs to be buzzing and energetic and kind of fun.

Should not have

• Dominant colors SHOULD NOT blend in or clash with rgb(0,32,80) or rgb(116,39,116) -- dominant colors must stand out from these colors (see notes in the nice to haves section).
