Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a crowdsourcing platform. The logo should be simple and elegant, and suitable for a favicon to be used in browsers and mobile apps. A good design may resemble the Chinese character for "crowd", 众 (please see http://characters.cultural-china.com/145.html for a reference).

I've seen some submissions, which is simply the simplified Chinese character of 众 (crowd). We want more graphic style, like the old pictographic characters shown in provided files. The meaning of the pictographic character, as the reference explains, is "three people working under the sun".
