I changed the briefing. The goal now is really to simplify the logo, not vectorize it. The first drafts have confirmed that we want a simplification.
Enclosed in the Briefuing also a few links to the bee as we have you with us, so that these look more realistic. (E.g. the tip of the abdomen should never be yellow, it reminds more of a wasp or hornet. A brown or black tip on the abdomen is ok)

I will also try to extend the duration. I already wrote to the support because there is no icon in my frontend.

To everyone who's been through this so well. As an association we have collected many new great ideas and received really good suggestions from 50% of the participants. A total of 5 designers qualified for the final decision. In a survey we selected the winning design within the board of directors. For me it was surprising that the colleagues in the board favoured such a relatively simple logo although at the beginning it should be as exact as possible like the old logo. Finally, I worked with the 5 finalists to simplify the final designs. I would like to thank everyone who took part and invite you to work on my new logo project.
