Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a modern re-brand on our current logo for this successful 30 year old company.
We currently only have a horizontal logo, so we're looking to update our identity for both horizontal and square/round logos.

There are 2 product categories, concrete irrigation outlets (called 'Stops') and automation units to open and close gates.
We want to evenly represent both the 'Stops' & 'Automation', so are considering two similar designs.

Currently, the 'Padman' font is Impact - which should stay the same. However, we would like 'STOPS' to be another font please.
The new font for STOPS will need to flow both horizontally and beneath for the square logo.
We're thinking something in Caps, Light and squarish with rounded corners.

Our first product was a concrete irrigation 'Stop' with a rubber flap door, This was pioneering and has been the business cornerstone. That is what the logo icon is.

We would also like to replicate the 'Padman STOPS' logo with a 'Padman AUTOMATION' logo. To achieve this we will change the 'STOPS' text to 'AUTOMATION' and create a different logo icon to suit.

We're happy to modernise this logo mark representing one of our 'Stops'. We will also need a similarly designed logo mark to represent our Automation. You will find visual examples on the Padman Stops website, but essentially they are metal boxes with solar panels that either open/close doors with a winch cog or indicate water activity. They communicate wirelessly to our App.

I have attached a sketch that hopefully clarifies what we are after. Of course, these are just our ideas and encourage you to submit what you feel would be best, even if it goes against some of our suggestions.

We would like to keep our Brand colours within the attached PDF & would consider adding a complimentary blue for the Padman AUTOMATION logo.
