Business Card Design Brief

We need a logo and business cards that reflects our wine bar concept. Please refer to the description below.​Anthropologist and attorney Jill Bennett Gaieski and attorney Lori Knauer, in consultation with Executive Chef and restauranteur Tim Smith, seek to open Village Vine, a wine bar and bistro in the business district of Swarthmore Borough. Our concept, “Tasting Culture Through Wine”, brings together unique, delicious wines from around the world and regional small plates to locals eager to learn about and experience the gustatory joys of lesser known wine-producing locales.Strategically located in downtown Swarthmore​, Pennsylvania, ​near the commuter train, Village Vine will be a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere in which to ​learn about, taste and ​enjoy interesting wines, dine, meet friends or just have a drink after work. After hours desserts, coffees, teas and other non-alcoholic beverages will be highly attractive to not only town residents but also the nearly 1600 college-aged students who attend Swarthmore College.

Target Market(s)

People interested in learning about unusual wine regions. Design must capture small, local, village feel. Think of a family owned vineyard in a small corner of the world that produces great regional wine. Also, design should capture learning, education and taking in new experiences.
