Logo Design Brief

We are seeking a minimalist symbol as well as a written-out version of a new logo for our company, "Technotiq." Ideally, the written out version will have its own complete set of fonts that could then be used on the website. We are open to different color palettes although you can see our current scheme here: http://store.technotiq.comWho are we? Technotiq is a high-end technology boutique specializing in new, used, and refurbished gaming, CAD, and other high-powered computing devices (primarily laptops). Some of our competitors include: XOTICPC, HIDEvolution, ANT Online, and IBuyPower. We strive to differentiate ourselves by providing a one-on-one boutique experience and sourcing rare, hard-to-find products at the lowest prices possible. We'd like to maintain a brand that's "high tech" and "enthusiast"-driven, while also being accessible and utilitarian enough for the discerning customer who simply wants power and class at the best possible price. We are NOT just about gamers. We serve a larger demographic consisting of gaming programmers, CAD artists, engineers, artists, multimedia professionals, etc. Thus, we want logos and font set that are clean, modern, yet evoke the concept of power and sophistication.

• 1st Logo (symbol)
• 2nd Logo (written out company logo)
• Font set that matches the 2nd logo

Nice to have

• All designs need to be web browser friendly, high-quality, and vector versions and all copyright permissions all transferable. Ideally, the symbol logo will be something we could eventually use on hardware we manufacture ourselves (e.g. hardware or computer badge, apparel, etc). We have provided sketches to give you some ideas about what we have pondered, but these are by NO means the best ideas. Thus, please give you best effort and feel free to mix and match some of the concepts we've provided in our sketches.

Should not have

• No cursive, calligraphy, or "sketch"-like print please. While we consider ourselves a "boutique," these styles do not fit our aesthetic. Also, please don't provide more than two designs since we want as many designers to have an opportunity to compete for this work. If you do provide more than two designs, we will have to disqualify all your entries.
