Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company called Mavie Construction. Mavie Construction is a woman-led company that manages the construction of new homes and existing home renovations. Eventually, Mavie Construction will expand its service offerings to not only managing the work, but completing the work as well.

The name Mavie puts together two french words "Ma vie" which translates to "My life" in English.

The company is based in La Peche, Quebec, Canada; a woodsy area full of wildlife and lakes, rivers and streams, yet close to the country's capital city. Potential clients who live in the area are considered outdoorsy while at the same time connected to the internet and other modern amenities. Some clients are conscientious of their health and environmental footprint resulting in the use of green building materials.

The final design should communicate professionalism, passion and expertise. The logo should convey to the client that they can trust in having their dream home with Mavie Construction.

Requirements

Must have

• We are open to the use of any color. Logo must include Mavie Construction spelled out. All fonts should be easy to read on trucks, websites, and other platforms.

Nice to have

• One idea we had for a logo design has been uploaded. In this logo idea, the window representing the dot on the i in Mavie. Some of the critical comments received were:
• -majority of people didn't like the red color
• -a minor majority of people preferred seeing Mavie in serif font rather than the sans serif option we created.

Should not have

• Please do not include images of tools or machinery.
