We need a logo designed for a new company building a solar industry analytics website.
Key aspects of the logo:
• The company name is “SolarWire” and it is based in Germany
• The logo should include the name “SolarWire”
• The tagline “PV industry markets and analytics” may be included, but is not mandatory
• Color scheme should have one or maybe two main colors (different shades can be incorporated); prefer that the primary color is not orange
Key details of the business:
• This will be a small- to medium-sized online business• It will be a solar-PV (photovoltaic) industry website that includes:
o Solar industry analysis and articleso Concise information about certain countries
o Information about key solar industry companies
o Data will be updated much more frequently than competition
• What we will be selling is informational content, likely on a subscription basis (this means industry data, analysis, articles, etc.)
• The key advantage we will be proposing is the analysis and information will be timely, concise and conveniently presented (the user gets exactly what they need when they need it)
• Customers will get the most important information they are looking for quickly, without “fluff,” and with major changes within the industry incorporated in near real time
• Customers will be people working for companies within the solar business and the wider energy industry
Background information on industry and market:
• The solar industry is very dynamic and fast-moving
• The solar industry is a tech-related industry and a majority of the workforce is male
• There are major entrenched energy interests in competition with solar and other renewable energy sources
• The market research business is known to provide sometimes low-quality and not necessarily timely information, especially in the dynamic solar sector; often inexperienced people are putting reports together
• SolarWire will bring up-to-date information and analysis in real-time from industry experts
Three qualities that the logo should communicate:
• Solar energy/sustainable business
• Timely information from experts
• Agility in a dynamic market
Envisioned style of logo:
• We envision a logo that includes a small-to-medium-sized image plus text to the right of it, but am open to ideas

Requirements
Must have
- Company name in the logo
Should not have
- Should not have orange as primary color. Note: the "wire" part of the company name is more referring to a news wire rather than an actual electrical cable. So images of physical wires in the logo probably do not make sense.
