Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my Colorado based embroidery business. The name comes from the way a sewing machine works: the needle pushes the thread down through the material, forming a loop that catches on a hook on the shuttle; this forms a stitch. My focus is creating custom embroidered designs on items like hats, shirts, blankets, stuffed animals, etc. I want the logo to explain the name while also emphasizing what I offer. The logo should be somewhat simple, but effective; I need to appeal to all ages. In general, embroidered designs look best with less detail. I want to use this logo on my own embroidered clothing, business cards, Etsy and e-bay.
