Logo Design Brief
A new scientific research group (based at university) needs a logo design. The research group is called "Conflict to Coexistence" or "C2C" for short. The focus of the research relates to the interactions between humans and wildlife (particularly carnivores/predators). This includes developing and testing non-lethal interventions that assist with managing wildlife, and also looking at the human aspects of conflict (human attitudes towards wildlife). There is a definite focus on canids, such as dingoes, wolves, African Wild Dogs, but we do/will cover all species and conflict.
The research group is based in Australia.
The final design should communicate the concept of "a shift from conflict to coexistence with wildlife", and include aspects of nature (trees, wildlife, people). It should be simple, modern and elegant. It does not have to have the name in the logo, but if it works that would be ok. I would like it to be a flexible design (so can be used on websites, twitter, email signatures etc)I attach an example of a tree, that has two parts- half is dying and the other is flourishing (needs the wildlife part though) as a possible example that we thought starts to convey the idea/concept i mentioned. But, i know you are all very clever, and will come up with something even more creative and beautiful!

Requirements
Must have
- The final design should communicate the concept of "a shift from conflict to coexistence with wildlife", and include aspects of nature (trees, wildlife, people).
- It should be simple, modern and elegant.
Nice to have
- Name of group (but not essential).
- Animal representations
- Human representation
- Because we are an Australian research group, it would ideal to have an Australian flavour- especially the dingo (but not essential).
- less focus on the word conflict, and more on coexistence
- I would like it to be a flexible design (so can be used on websites, twitter, email signatures etc)
