Hi Whitebread, you can submit multiple icon sets by that display a different theme. E.g. if you had a 1x icon set of landmarks and 1x icon set of food. However, that's why ee've left the option open to combine cultural themes so you create the strongest submission with 6-10 of your best icons. Up to you, just focus on creating high quality visual assets.

Designers, do not submit your icons as individual submissions. The brief requires you to group your icons together in 1 preview image. The number of icons per submission 6 to 10 icons. I am eliminating individual submissions from the contest.

So you are saying that is better to combine culture/country themes in my icons instead of (i.g.) an icon set of landmarks of the same culture/country ?
- Is there a preference of cultural theme because of the few sets of that cultural theme?

Hi designers,

1) Icons don't mean an illustration or graphic inside a box or square. I think some of you are interpreting the brief to mean we want designs for a smartphone or a button.

Your designs don't have to be ultra minimalist and flat. Naturally most of these icons will be used in a digital context but they still need to be scalable and look good big or small.

The best submissions have taken the approach where they've created their food, drink, landmark or other cultural icon on a white background only. Meaning they have not put a box around the design so it sits in a square.

2) The submissions are fantastic. I'm really happy with the quality and creativity from our talented designer community. Thank you to everyone who has submitted so far. Keep the ideas coming!
