Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a logo to be designed for a website that will allow homeowners to search for and rate local roofing contractors. This is similar to Homeadvisor and Angie’s List but catering specifically towards roofing companies. What I am envisioning is a circular logo that incorporates a ribbon, with red and 2-3 3 colors withing the logo itself. It really needs to pop as well as be elegant and look professional. Anyone looking at the logo should know that it has to do with roofing but should be considered a “quality” seal for roofing quality. I am open to having any kind of design, it does not have to be circular but should have detail to it and look elegant. I really like vector (illustrator) designs. Ideally this would be on our website, on gear as well as on roofing company websites as a seal of quality.
