I have updated the Logo Design Requirements Must-haves as follows:

The main software name is Encore. The Salon & Spa Software part describes what it is. So the layout should have Encore on top with Salon & Spa Software underneath. This is a logo for a software program, not for a salon business, but it should appeal to a salon or spa owner which will typically be women ages 25-50.

Also, no scissors please. Our target market includes spas, massage therapy, tanning salons, many of which do not cut hair so we do not want to exclude those business types
