Logo Design Brief

Need a fresh, modern, clean and maybe a slightly abstract logo for a new communications and public relations company called "DTR Communications". The firm does work with the media and political officials in Washington DC. The firm builds brands, protects reputations and positions company leadership to heighten their public profiles. I'd like to see a logo that uses the initials of the founder, DTR, without being too literal. I'd like for the entire word "communications" to be incorporated into the logo but also have the ability to separate the word from the initials, if I prefer. I'd prefer a color palette that is cold steel grey moving toward a slight blue. Consider using lines that slightly "twist" instead of being just straight.
