Book Cover Design Brief
My father has written a book and I would love to gift him a bespoke front cover for it for his 60th birthday this year.
The book is a work of fiction and tells the story of two strangers (an Asian Female and a Caucasian Male) who meet on a train. After the train crashes and bursts into flames, they take the luggage of different passengers and decide to make a new life together, culminating in a murder which they believe they can get away with forever. The book is a thriller and engages the reader in suspense, excitement, anticipation and anxiety.

- A vibrant front cover with consideration over the font of both the title and author.
- I would like the train where they meet to be the main focus for the front cover. The strangers meet on a train and I’d like the cover to reflect this.
- Design must include front cover, spine and back cover with a space for blurb (to follow).
Nice to have
- A photograph based cover would I think suit the book better than an illustration.
