Logo Design Brief

We want a logo design for our a sign in front of the facility that will be transposed onto a metal sign

My wife and her sister have purchased an older facility and have remodeled the kitchen and rooms. This facility has been rented out 100% this last summer to a mining exploration company that is based in town. As long as they keep exploring, we have basically one client. We want to make this sign out of metal attached to two vertical logs at the end of the road to show the business name. No website or FB page for them but we have a Facebook page for IDC and INL which might give some ideas. We own these companies also and will be looking to enhance some of these companies with some new looks and logos.
