We are looking for a design to be used on commemorative T-shirts and maybe things like magnets. Not overly intricate as it will be to expensive to print in bulk. A little about us....
We are an oceanographic research vessel, the NOAA Ship Ronald H Brown (please see pics), performing operations supporting oceanographic research from our vessel. We are a group of hard working, salty mariners- deck department, engineers, cooks, officers, scientists. We are completing an around the world voyage where we primarily did sea water sampling via CTDs (please see picture) and recovered/deployed data buoys (please see pics). I will outline our route, but also please see pic. We departed Charleston, South Carolina in February and will return to Charleston in October.
We traveled from:
Charleston, SC to Fort Lauderdale, FL (the small green line that says WBTS)
Fort Lauderdale, FL to Durban, South Africa (the red line that says PNE)
Durban, South Africa to Seychelles (blue line that says GOSHIP)
Seychelles to Goa, India (pink line that says GOSHIP)
Goa, India to Darwin, Australia (white line that says RAMA)
Darwin, Australia to Oahu, Hawaii (yellow line that says TAO)
Oahu to Rodman, Panama to go through the Panama Canal, back to Charleston, South Carolina (blue line that says transit home)
A note about the pictures of our ship, there are two large white globes, please note that the lower, aft white ball is no longer on our vessel. When using an image of the ship, please omit that aft white globe.
The 4th pic shows a buoy about to be recovered, with the yellow and grey rosette on the deck being a CTD (also shown being deployed in the second to last picture).
The NOAA logo shows well on the first picture of the ship.
We would also be interested in a second, general T-shirt design that can be more universal to the guests to the ship on our past and future trips
