This logo will be for a new non-profit organization, the Tennis Legacy Fund. The goal of the fund is to inspire the worldwide tennis community and industry to engage in projects and education that that generate long-term win-wins for people and the planet.
We'd like the logo to convey:
Classy, professional
Important
Inviting
Legitimacy
Clean – uncluttered
Modern
We are looking for clean, elegant designs.
We are leaning towards blue and green colors, but are not wed to them; free to use your imagination.
We are open to either a Wordmark Logo OR an Combination Mark that includes an Abstract Logo and the text "Tennis Legacy Fund." Do not use common clip art. Elegant subtlety is preferred. Conservative business audience. We also tend to prefer Sans Serif fonts over Serif.
IMPORTANT #1: The logo may but does not need to contain a tennis ball or a globe. It can be more abstract. The words "Tennis" and "Legacy" themselves are powerful.
IMPORTANT #2: Because many people have an initial bias against "environmentalism" (e.g., thinking that it's about "saving the trees for the trees sake" or putting nature over people), we do NOT want a logo/mark that suggests "save the planet!" and conveys that the Tennis Legacy Fund is simply about protecting the environment. As such, please do NOT use leaves or trees or obvious "environmental" symbols.
Attached are elegant, simple logos with original symbol/icons we like and may provide some inspiration.

Updates
Thank you all for your submissions. We appreciate your attempts and would like to give a little additional feedback based on what we have seen. Please see our updated description. We are looking for a conservative, business look that is simple, elegant yet subtle. The mark can be subtle and does not have to be a tennis ball or a globe. Feel free to use your imagination, as long as it is simple. We look forward to selecting a winner at the end of the contest. Thanks again for your efforts. We look forward to seeing your winning design.
