Logo Design Brief

Recreate an existing logo for a local, custom luxury closet manufacturer. We operate a business "Palmetto Cabinet Doors" with a palm tree logo. We have been in manufacturing since 1971. I want to use the same basic logo with some slight modification to differentiate it from the "PCD" logo. I want to keep the tree and company name with the underscore the same. I would like to change the color of the logo. I like greens, blue greens, blue, white, black, orange, pink, red. I want to keep the mass of the logo the same for brand recognition. Something creative and whimsical to lend it to the female buyer would be interesting. I have attached a picture of a ginger ale can with a seafoam green Yeti tumbler behind it. I really like these colors. Not necessarily combined but maybe so.

Target Market(s)

Middle aged, affluent females. Contemporary to transitional style. I work in a very traditional southern area but we have a European car maker employing roughly 15% of our work force.
