Logo Design Brief
We have a logo, but we think it has become dated. We would like to either retain this logo (and freshen it up) or consider something completely new and fresh (i.e., we are open minded).
Some members may like to see our current logo (which has the VLCC in it) retained, so I have enclosed an image for your consideration, but please feel free to put forward something new and fresh if you think our existing logo doesn't work.
We are a veteran cycling club, which has been going since 1977. Some of the adverbs that come to mind are:
fast, peloton, time trials, racing, speed, teams - not sure what else you need really??
We are not restricted by club colours - it can be anything. As for size, we don't want anything too large, and would like to incorporate for use on our website (www.vlcc.org.au), all stationery, signwriting on new club van, as well as display on club jersey which is also being updated.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Hi - thank you all for your designs. I only need to extend the deadline for voting purposes on the designs submitted - I want to put out a vote once it officially closes on 16 January, but not sure that we will be able to make a decision within 10 days (from 16 January) as we are not back at our clubrooms until the 2nd week of February, so just need a bit of extra time to allow for discussion via email, and then getting down to final 2 or 3 designs.
Hope this is okay with everyone - we have had some wonderful submissions presented and hope to announce a decision asap, once the project closes "offcially" on 16 January.
If you are yet to submit your design, we look forward to hearing from you.

Hi everyone,
Just an update on where we are at.
We are currently going through all the designs, and trying to get down to a shortlist of 3-4 designs for final voting by club membership.
Here in Australia we have a long weekend (Australia Day) the Tour Down Under is on, so getting my Exec Committee together is proving difficult, but we hope to be in a position to decide on the final design within the next 10-14 days.
