Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based in Kansas City. This is an interior design company that stages new model homes for builders. This company will eventually develop into a storefront with a small boutique vibe that sells furniture, accessories, interior design services, etc. and will have an intimate showroom with plumbing, flooring, and other finishes to show clients to pick out for their homes. So we will need the logo to carry us through that phase. The final design should communicate the interior design business somehow by using an iconic symbol like a sketchy drawing of a chair, a house, or something interior design related. For a general feel for the logo, we are thinking something hipster, modern, simple, smells like leather, and a touch of architecture :) I want it to appeal to all demographics though. Would love to see it in black and white and color and would need to use it on websites, social media, and promotional print like business cards, letterhead etc. in a jpg, png. format. Dapper Design would be the focal point and the KC could be smaller. Incorporating something iconic from Kansas City would be fun. like an arrow from the Chiefs or a Crown from the Royals...but this is not necessary. We are artists here too and open to everyone's artistic take on this!
