Logo Design Brief
I design and create custom furniture out of my shop, which I call "Black Lotus Works". This is not my full time job, but something I do for a hobby and am very passionate about. In buddhist philosophy, the lotus is a symbol of strength, perseverance, and promise in the face of adversity. I'm looking for a logo that brings those ideals to life. My style is very mid-century; I prefer simplicity, with clean, sleek lines. I am working towards developing a website and small scale social media presence, and am in need of logo for branding purposes. My ideal logo would include both an image and the name "Black Lotus Works", but I would like the image itself to be simple enough to be able to be carved or burned into my finished products without the name as well.
