Logo Design Brief

Logo for new retail store/jewelry design studio that will open in an arts district area of town. Colors should be black (or dark grey/blue), white and gold. We are opening a contemporary art jewelry store with a working studio in it. We will be designing and making custom jewelry AND teaching jewelry making classes. We want a fresh new spin on a stuffy jewelry store that will includes ethical and sustainable materials and a lot of interactive experiences for customers, so our logo should reflect this.

Requirements

Must have

• Graphic Logo feature that can be printed on packaging and tagline, as well as MAKE MADE spelled out, along with tagline ' a creative jewelry experience'

Nice to have

• This is a pinterest board of ideas we like: https://www.pinterest.com/katiepoterala/branding-ret/
• We like the idea of the letter M as a logo (possible with a gem in the valley of the M or otherwise incorporated?)
• and the name Make Made beside or below the M.
• Owners names are Katie and Danielle (A play on the K & D in Make Made might be nice but not necessary)
• Might be interested in having a visual contrast in font somewhere to depict both sides of our business ( in-progress/design/making and final finished products) ex.) a sketchy lowercase font next to a more formal/bold uppercase font
