Logo Design Brief

I need a professional and strong, monogram logo. The logo is for my management consultancy, which provides leadership development and coaching for people in management, executive and board director roles. I'd like the logo give the impression of being dependable and confident as well as forward thinking / contemporary. It would be nice to achieve a balance of 'credible professional' and 'personable / approachable'.

The monogram letters are KM & A, which refers to KM & Associates. I'm not particular about the spacing between the letters in the monogram, so if it needs to be KM&A, then that is fine. The monogram logo could be block letters or minimalist in 2D or 3D style, with clever use of curves or angles or configurations of the letters, and not too traditional.

Can you design the logo using the golden (Fibonacci) ratio? I don't mind if you use negative space to shape the monogram, or colour / graduated colour to contrast parts of it. I'd like the colours to be navy and an accent colour of either deep cherry red, or alternatively a teal / dark aqua colour. Also, its ok if the colour is the background and the letters are white / neutral.
