App Design Brief

I need an icon for a Midi OSX application. The application is very close related to Logic Pro X, as the application design is in Dark Pro UI.

The logo should be something that will bond Logic Pro X identity however the main functionality is receiving melody input from connected midi keyboard devices and provide Retrospective melody playback directly in music composition application such Logic Pro X as main target to Cubase or other music composition applications.

Target Market(s)

Musicians around the world that are composing music on computer.

Requirements

Must have

• Preferably dark colors as related to OSX Pro applications but not obligatory.
  PSD icon file should be sized to 1024x1024 px 72 dpi resolution in a final delivery.

Nice to have

• Midi Connector composed in the design.
  (Piano Roll events (As seen from Logic Pro X)) can be composed too.

Should not have

• Any text
  No need to compose "Capture Midi" in logo. I am interested on icon only.
  
  This is a OSX Dock / Status Bar / application icon request, do not design in iOS or Android style.
