Logo Design Brief
PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE CHOSEN A DESIGN NOW - THANKS FOR ALL THE SUBMISSIONS
We need a logo for Puppy Love, who aim to stop the commerical breeding of puppies and especially puppy farming -
where dogs are "farmed" in horrendous conditions and forced
to breed again and again until they are too exhausted to continue. At
this point they are either killed or discarded. The puppies from the
farms suffer many health and psychological disorders and are sold
through the internet or in pet shops.
The logo must be simple and dynamic looking and give the
impression of action, and of freeing dogs from cruelty and
imprisonment (no chains though as these would not be used at a puppy
farm). Probably good to make it fairly abstract since any full images
of dogs or puppies will likely make it look like a logo for a pet
shop or dog food company.
Please note that the most commonly
farmed breeds are Bichon Frise, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Pug,
Yorkshire Terrier, West Highland White Terrier, Poodles and other
small breeds.
These logos are good:-

Updates
Thanks so much for the designs submitted already! Please note though that the most commonly farmed dogs are Bichon Frise, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Yorkshire Terrier, West Highland White Terrier, Pug, Poodle and other small breeds. Sorry this was not mentioned in the original brief.
Hello,
Thanks for the submissions. Could anyone produce something with this concept please: http://bitchesagainstbreeders.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/puppy-love-logo.jpg
The dog in the image should be one of the small breeds listed in the brief.
Many thanks,
Sophie
Thank you all for your submissions.
Apologies for the confusion, the name is now back to Puppy Love Campaigns (I have eliminated all designs submitted under the other name) who have given me an example of the kind of feel/ style that they'd like for the logo which you can see here: http://nopoundsforhounds.org/?attachment_id=285
It will obviously need to be much simpler than this but at least gives the general feel they'd like. Please note, no chains or paw prints please. An impression of imprisonment (so long as not too depressing!) or freedom
would be good.
Thanks,
Sophie

Requirements
Must have
- Must be simple and dynamic looking and give the impression of action, and of freeing dogs from cruelty. Probably good to make it fairly abstract.
Should not have
- Should not look like a logo for a pet shop, ie not like this http://www.dogs4us.com. No paw prints unless something really original. No chains please since these would not be used in a puppy farm.
