Logo Design Brief

We need a great logo for a new charity regatta hosted by two Rotary clubs south of Houston, Texas, on Clear Creek. This is our inaugural year, but we want to make it a big community event to bring two cities together, and we would like to have a logo that we can use for years to come. It's a little difficult because we would like to use the Rotary logo (attached) for the Rotary part of the name, and then something special and canoe-y around the word Regatta. The Greens Bayou Partnership did something similar with their logo for the Greens Bayou Regatta. We don't want to copy, but we think it's genius: https://greensbayouregatta.rallybound.org/

Target Market(s)

Houston-area canoers AND corporate sponsors. We'd really like it to feel safe for novice canoers, too.
