Logo Design Brief

FrontPack is a social app for adventure travelers. Whether cycling on a week-long group tour, backpacking with friends in Europe during college, raising money for a cause on a charity ride or experiencing new frontiers in retirement, FrontPack keeps people connected with friends and family.

Tour companies, event coordinators and bike clubs upload their routes. Individuals can record personal tours. Travelers and athletes download the routes to their smartphone. They can see themselves and their friends locations on the map, and post photos that are instantly available online. They can blog about their experience from the road so friends can follow from home. Privacy settings control who can see the route and locations.

We'd like a clean logo design and color pallet that represents an easy-to-use product. It should convey exploration, confidence. The logo will be used in the mobile app and on the web site. It should appeal to all age groups. Ideally the app will go viral among college students and on Facebook. Our pre-launch site is http://www.thefrontpack.com/
