Logo Design Brief

We would like to refine a mascot a previous intern started doing (see attached)

We are sleeptech startup. Here's our website and our kickstarter campaign:

We're focused on helping people improve their sleep.

We already have a logo with our name and we would like to add a mascot for our app icon, our Facebook page, etc

We would two versions of the mascot :
-one similar to the existing one (see attached - the whole fox with the head nested in his tail, falling asleep)
-a new one with just its head (eyes open)

Requirements

Must have

• We want the logos to be:
• -simple (as little lines as possible)
• -have only two tones (white and blue #285f9a)
• We should be able to invert the tones for each logo:
• -white on blue
• -blue on white

Nice to have

• Some context around our brand:
• Moona is on a mission to bring better sleep to the world.
• Based on science, Moona is developing a sleep product to help improve sleep thanks to head temperature / temperature of the pillow.
• Important concepts for the brand:
• -better sleep
• -well being
• -health
• -science / medical studies
• -temperature
• Sleep : calming, comforting
• Our product is not a gadget, it is based on research, with an ongoing doctoral thesis on the project. But the benefits is key (better sleep) and the user.
