Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a logo using the word "whānau".
The first "a" letter is to be the koru design as per my pdf. attached, this must have the macron (line) above it.
I need the letters to include a Māori design on the right handside of each letter, So the left is solid and the right includes a Māori design in the actual font.
I have attached some sample lettering from pinterest - but we want a thicker font with just the right handside including the font.
I have attached some Māori designs to give you and idea of the look,
