Logo Design Brief

Need logo design for a new automotive store specialising in selling performance car parts. We would like the logo to be equal height and width (square) rather than elongated. I have mocked up a simple design (as attached) which we were going to use but now I think it's rather bland. We want something clever, maybe an A inside an A (Astro Auto) and seeing as people relate Astro with Space, we were thinking of incorporating the shape of a star or maybe a rocket. Colour is not an issue as I can change it up if PSD files are provided.
