Logo Design Brief

We will be producing our own locally sourced orange juice and need a logo to help with marketing and establishing the brand.

Our small grove is in the Temecula Valley Wine County which has 33,000 acres (134 km2) or wine grape production. Our Orange Grove is in the special 5,000 acres (20 km2) "protected" area referred to as the Citrus/Vineyard Zone.

We believe that making an assocition between our orange grove and the local wineries and vineyards will have a positive influence on the marketing of our product.

First of all, we don't want to stiffle any originality of the designer. We are open to anything. The only thought that we have had is for a logo containing a wine glass filled with orange juice with a subtle background of rolling hill vineyards might be effective, Perhaps an orange slice on the rim of the wine glass provided that this doesn't look "too busy".

I also want to mention that besides the tourism that wineries bring in for the local area, hot air ballooning is a major recreation feature that has come to characterize the area.

I have attached four files, a PDF containing a draft of content that we will ultimately use when we have a bi-fold brochure created, along with three jpeg files that show the local landscape.

We expect the the logo will be used for a product label (Gallon Juice Container - Label Size of 4" x 5"), a Web Site (needs to be responsive to size for mobile devices) and Bi-Fold brochure (3.75" x 8.5"). Considering the size of area where the logo will appear, we can add text to the logo. Provided the overall logo does not appear to be too busy or cluttered, there is text we might consider adding. One or the other or both provided the words can be read at he size the logo will appear AND it isn't distracting.
