DESIGN BRIEF
ABOUT THE BUSINESS:
Bioenergetix For Wellness (BFW) is a new, cutting edge health and wellness business that is based in New Zealand, however the services are offered via a website to a global community.
BFW is an alternative health provider, which offers services that are based on bioenergetic principles, that are backed by scientific research. We believe that health begins with a strong energetic system. Most illness and disease arise from imbalances in the Body-Field and a break-down in communication between the cells. A strong, fully functioning energetic system results in good health and wellbeing.
The BFW system involves scanning (either in clinic or remotely) a client’s Body-Field using a biofeedback device, which detects blockages and distortions in the energetic system of the human body and break downs in communication between cells in the body. The system’s software generates a comprehensive report showing areas of priority in the energy fields surrounding the body’s tissues, organs and systems. It also detects energetic imbalances in the body’s ability to handle environmental toxins, the body’s ability to use certain vitamins, minerals and nutrients, food sensitivities, and emotional traumas. It detects the body’s ability to gain energy from sources in the environment such as diet, oxygenation, hydration, movement and sleep, and it pin points specific areas of the body where energetic blockages reside for therapeutic treatments using a handheld electronic device, which uses electro stimulation and PEMF to offer pain relief.
The scan then generates a recommended list of specific Infoceuticals (liquid remedies) that are only offered and available to purchase through a certified NES Health Practitioner. The remedies contain colloidal minerals (structured water) and bio information to clear the detected blockages and distortions in the clients Body-Field (energetic system), thus restoring health to the client.
BFW takes a multi-dimensional approach to healing and wellness, thus we offer a range of add-on modalities, which complement each other, using the same bioenergetic principles such as Yoga, Reiki Healing, Meditation, breathing exercises and dietary, lifestyle and supplementation recommendations.
TARGET MARKET:
BFW’s target market is 30-60 year-old mostly woman (I want the logo to appeal to men too) that have either suffered from a chronic health condition and who haven’t found relief in mainstream medicine or who are interested in increasing their sense of wellbeing through an alternative therapy, and their income bracket is middle to high.
DESIGN TIPS:
I want the logo to look modern, unique and distinctive. I don’t want potential clients to perceive the business as being ‘airy fairy’ because it is based on alternative health modalities, so the logo needs to translate that the business is strong, dependable and results driven. The logo needs to garner feelings of trustworthiness, dependability, warmth, empathy, caring and healing.
I have provided a logo (3) that was recently designed for me, which I wasn’t happy with. In my original brief I had asked for the logo to contain either a water droplet, molecule/s, energy field/s. I will now leave this up to the expertise of the designers! I also like the colour blue, but not a cold, corporate blue, and a modern font. Any colour/s and font combinations can be used, which takes into consideration the above details!
