Web Design Brief

We are building an online interactive map for an IoT showcase set around a farm, college and surrounding estate. We need some illustrations / markers representing different "things" that we are monitoring: a farm gate, a fridge, a rubbish bin, a slurry pit, a farmer, a sheep, a quadbike, a staffroom, a barn, a kettle. These will be placed on the map and will show their current state - for example: the gate will be open or closed, the fridge has upper and lower acceptable temperature range, bins and pits are empty, partially full, dangerously full, the staffroom and barn are empty or occupied, the kettle is on or off, and the farmer, sheep and quad bike ust move location.
I want them to be colourful and fun, like a cartoon. The idea is to make the map look animated and engaging, and draw attention to changing states of the different "things"
