Flyer Design Brief

I am looking for a full color 2 sided flyer to help me promote a couple of DJ gigs. Basically I play every Monday & Tuesday at a live music venue in Harlem, NY and i'd like to create a flyer that has one night on each side. For each of those two nights that I am promoting I want the flyer to reflect the type of music that I play. I will be using these images to print flyers, posters and use the images on my website to share on social media so the image should be appropriate for all these uses.

Here is the concept. One one side I'd like to feature the Monday party called "Harlem Soul Kitchen" and I play:
Soul Classics, Rare Grooves, Motown R&B & Classic Sampled Songs as well as some current R&B & Hip Hop.
I am thinking of trying to convey the feeling depicted in Ernie Barnes' Sugar Shack image. (Attached pics 1 & 2).

On the other side I'd like to feature the Tuesday party called "Afrolicious" where I play Classic Afro-Beat, Coupe Decale, Hip Life, Najia, N'dombolo, Soukous, Reggae, Soca, Reggaeton along with a little R&B & Hip Hop.
I am thinking something like woman with an Afro in the shape of the country of Africa. See the attached pics 3, 4 & 5.

Ideally, I'd like to have the flyers either 3x5 or 4x6 and I'd need to be able to have them printed as flyers and also be able to make a poster size print of them as well.

I also spin at this club on Saturdays and I will be looking to make a Flyer for that as well at some point.

Target Market(s)

The target market for my flyer is for Male & Female Harlem Hipsters who range in age from 21 to 49. They come from all types of backgrounds and love all types of music.

It must also have the types of musical genres that are being played that respective night as well with the web link for that party where I will be hosting the image of the flyer.

• I'd like to see some original ideas based off the concepts that I have provided above. The flyers should not be exactly as I have described the concepts above but rather convey this type of feeling.

• The flyer should not have the images I uploaded with the text that I provided written on top. (I can do that myself.)
