Logo Design Brief

My business sells parts for classic British cars from the 1950's to 1970's. I need a new logo. The company is called Hawkswood Classics Limited. I have attached our current logo. It is based on a distressed racing number like on the car pictured. I personally have a love for old racing cars with a fatigued look and worn paintwork, Our current logo is 5 years old and is well recognised so I would prefer if there's some familiarity with the old logo (so people know it's us) .

I like the combination of colours on the car attached and also the patina.

We sell parts for specific British cars so a generic picture of a vintage car will not work for us! Our target customers like bright chrome, quality workmanship, automotive mechanicals / engines, vintage motorsport.

We deal in only premium, highest quality parts.
