Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo designed for our coffee shop and cafe, Bandon Coffee Cafe. The cafe has been in business for over 10 years, however we just purchased the business and would like to reenergize our promotional materials with a new logo. The cafe is located on the Oregon Coast, and offers coffees, espresso drinks, light breakfast, lunch, and made from scratch baked goods. We serve a high volume of tourists during the summer months, and cater to locals during the winter. We are one of few hubs of our community, where many of our residents gather regularly.
We'd like our new logo to be one color and have clean, modern lines, as well as be easy to read. This logo will be used for large signs (approx. 8 ft), as well as t-shirts and coffee cups. Visual references to mountains, ocean, forest would be considered but are not required. Our previous logo is included for reference. We like how visually simple it is, but would like to move away from the oval shape to something more contemporary. We have also included some examples of other logo designs that we like.

• Coffee, name of our business (Bandon Coffee Cafe), easy to read/interpret. We would like "Bandon Coffee" to be emphasized, and "Cafe" to also be included, however that word can be in smaller text/less emphasized.
